Bernardo “Ben” Garza, 79 of Evans, died on Saturday, March 10, 2012 at his home.

Ben was born on August 20, 1932 in Paducah, Texas. He married Pauline Castillo in 1957 in Paducah.

Survivors include 2 sons, Jerry and Jimmy Garza; 5 daughters, Mercedes Gomez, Rosemary Norris, Casielda Garza, Christine Rosales and Eileen Gonzales; 3 brothers; 4 sisters; 10 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife, Pauline Garza.

A memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 14th at the Moser Funeral Service Chapel, 3501 S. 11th Avenue in Evans.
