Mildred Irene Boren, RN, 84 of Greeley went to be with her Lord and Savior on May 7, 2012 at her home.
She was born the daughter of Hans and Myrtle Peterson in Brush, Colorado November 6, 1927.
Surviving are daughters Ann Zarezadegan (Paymon), Susan Swanson, Laura Mendoza (Phillip), eleven grandchildren (Judy and Chad Schott and Cody Zarezadegan, Mitchell and Jeremy Swanson and Adam Jones, Shane, Trevor, and Brody Mendoza, and Kaite and Ally Parkos) and five great grandchildren (Kya and Kamara Schott, Jordan and Cameron Swanson, and Bella Swanson). Also, sisters Bernice Crosthwait (Art) and Edna Swanson (Fred) and two nephews. Preceding her into eternal life were husband Robert Boren, daughter Jeanna, and son-in-law Jeff Parkos.
Mildred had a servant’s heart. She dearly loved and served her family. As a registered nurse, she lovingly cared for hospital patients in Greeley, Denver, and Brush, Colorado, and in Texas and Oklahoma. Her Christian love and care will be missed.
Graveside services will be held at 9:15 a.m. on Tuesday, May, 15, 2012 at Fort Logan National Cemetery (Staging Area “C”), 3698 S. Sheridan Blvd. in Englewood.
