Barry lived his entire life in Eaton. He attended school in Eaton graduating in 1964. In addition to serving with numerous water companies, Barry served on the Board of Directors for Centennial Bank until it sold and then joined the Farmers Bank of Ault, again serving on the Board of Directors until his passing. Barry was a lifelong member of the First Congregational Church of Eaton-Ault and he sang for twenty years as a member of the Someday Quartet.
His greatest joy was his family. He was a devoted caretaker for his disabled daughter Ami, a supportive and loving role model for his son Cade, and he especially loved spending time with his grandchildren.
