Dennis William Nolz, 75, of Ault passed away on Wednesday, April 3, 2024.

He was born January 30, 1949, in South Dakota to Alois H. and Bernadine (Schoenfelder) Nolz. He graduated from high school in Parkston, South Dakota. Dennis and Linda Pattan have been together since 1994.

He began work as a diesel mechanic and later worked for JBS Packing Plant in Greeley, Colorado. Dennis was a member of the Catholic Church and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Pattan of Ault Colorado, a daughter, Sara Ann Nolz of Greeley, stepsons, Robert and David Sinden, brothers, Charles (Merri) Nolz, Bernard (Mary) Nolz, Leonard (Deb) Nolz, William (Mary) Nolz, Edward (Deanna) Nolz, sisters, Sharon (John) Korzan, Karen Nolz, Shirley (Frank) Bailey, Barbara Gahl, Joyce (Harlan) Star, brother-in-law, Lloyd (Debra) Pattan, sisters-in-law, Deborah (Dean) Hill, Lorinda (Rusty) Root, and 2 grandson, Isac and Jacob Gray.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Alois and Bernadine, a son, Samual Nolz, a brother, Franny Nolz, a sister, Bertha Ostbye, a brother and sister-in-law, Kenneth and Evon Nolz, and a sister, Mary Weflen.

Private family services will be held at a later date.
