Evarista Perez Silva, 98, of Greeley, passed away at her home on May 5, 2023, surrounded by her family.

She was born October 26, 1924, in Estacion Creel, Chihuahua, Mexico to Porfirio Perez and Octaviana Silva. In 1944, she married Jesus Valenzuela in Madera, Chihuahua. Her faith was very important to her, and she was a devoted Catholic. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother.

She is survived by her son, Guillermo Valenzuela Perez, her daughters, Guadalupe Valenzuela and Evangelina Holguin, 14 grandchildren, multiple great and great great grandchildren.

She was preceded by her husband, Jesus Valenzuela, her parents, Porfirio Perez and Octaviana Silva, and a grandson, Javier Esquivel.

Visitation will be 4-7:00 p.m. Thursday, May 11, 2023, with Recitation of the Rosary beginning at 6:00 p.m. at the Moser Funeral Service Chapel. A Liturgy of the Word will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, May 12, 2023, also at the Moser Funeral Chapel.
