Judy L. Martinez, at the age of 63, departed her loving family on the evening of Wednesday December 8, 2021.
Judy was born in Denver, CO but grew up in Platteville, CO where she was 1 of 6 children born to Jim and Mary Bollig. Judy stayed in Platteville and built a life of her own, and a beautiful family. She spent many years enjoying multiple hobbies. She loved putting together puzzles, cross stitch, reading romance novels, collecting anything Precious Moments, and of course being the best Denver Broncos fan that she could be. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family. Judy often took her three children fishing and camping when they were young, building memories they will forever cherish. Later came family card nights and watching football together.
She was preceded in death by both of her parents Jim and Mary Bollig and her husband Frank Martinez.
She is survived by all of her siblings, Chris Bollig, Linda Magill, Suzie Shupe, Jim Bollig, and Scott Bollig. She is also survived by her children, her oldest and only daughter Monica Thompson and son in law Chris Thompson, Eldest son Aaron Villalobos, Youngest Kevin Villalobos and daughter in law Jessica Villalobos. Judy leaves behind five Grandchildren. The first to give her the title of Grandma, Dakota Thompson and four more to follow, Summer Thompson, Dalton Thompson, Vivian Villalobos, and her youngest Grandchild Luke Villalobos.
Judy was an amazing Daughter, Mother, Sister, Aunt, and Grandmother with a huge heart and in return was, and forever will be, loved and reminisced by so many.
A private family service will be held.
