Mary C. Bauming (Herbel) was born in Hooker, Oklahoma on October 25, 1918. She attended school in Weld County. Mary went home to our Lord on Sunday, November 27, 2022, at the Life Care Center of Greeley.

On May 17, 1936, she married Harold Bauming in La Salle, Colorado. In 1942 they moved to Portland, Oregon until 1946 when they moved back to Greeley. Mary was a homemaker, and she was very active in the Elks Doe's Drove #216. She served as an officer and on many other committees.

Mrs. Bauming was a member of St. Paul's Congregational Church and the Christian Women's Fellowship. Mary was a devoted mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, and great grandmother.

She is survived by a daughter, Helen, and husband Larry of Eaton, 4 grandchildren, Robert W. Bauming and wife April of Glen Haven, Lana Hansen and husband Steve of Lee Vining, California, Jennifer Franks and husband Greg of Greeley, and Jackie Martinez of Las Vegas, Nevada, 4 great grandchildren, John and Justin Hansen, both of California, Mikala Patterson of Colorado Springs, and Jaiden Patterson of Pueblo, Colorado, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mary is preceded in death by her husband, Harold Bauming in 2007, a son, Robert Lee in 2000, a granddaughter, Lynne Bauming in 1959; her parents; 5 sisters and four brothers.

A funeral service will be 10:30 a.m., Thursday, December 8, 2022, at St. Paul's Congregational Church with a graveside service prior at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Memorial contributions may be made in Mary's name to St. Paul's Congregational Church or St. Paul's Christian Women's Fellowship.
