Mary Katherine Griego "G.G." 78 of Greeley, Colorado went home to be with the Lord on January 4, 2022.

Mary was born on June 23, 1943, in Sopras, Colorado. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She lived in Pueblo, Co until 1991, then moved to Greeley, Co.
Mary loved to dance, play cards, and watch classic westerns. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy. Holidays always took place at her home where she would spoil each one of her great-grandchildren with treats and lots of love ❤️ Mary never had a day where she was unhappy, always a smiling face when anyone would go over to visit. Anyone who ever met her left that day knowing they had a G.G of their own.

Mary is proceeded in death by her biological parents, Leo and Edna Whittaker, adoptive parents Macedonia and Amalia Vialpando, stepson, Simon Herrera, a brother, Ernie Vialpando, and loving husband Robert Griego.
She is survived by son, Ernie Griego, daughter, Mary Santistevan, stepchildren Robert Griego, Betty Griego, grandchildren Briana "JR" Beina, Abel "Heidica" Bedan, Sophia Bedan, 6 great grandchildren, and numerous family members along with friends.

Visitation will be held 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 13, 2022, at the Moser Funeral Service Chapel, 3501 S. 11th Avenue in Evans, Colorado followed by Funeral Services beginning at 12:30 p.m. also at the funeral home. Interment at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Greeley.
