Brian Baladez, 62, of Greeley (formally of Duluth and Superior WI), passed away in his home after a long illness surrounded by his family.
Brian was married to Lori Brunz. They had 2 children Miranda Baladez of Denver and Cassie Baladez of Greeley. Later married to Darlene Dillon and had 2 children, Ray living in Hayward, daughter Desirae Baladez, and Stepson Chad Dillon. Brian attended Greeley West High school where he was on the wrestling team. Brian was a self-employed construction contractor. Brian enjoyed music and playing his guitar, hunting and fishing. Most of all he loved riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle. At one time he was a bit famous for rescuing an injured bald eagle while out for a ride. The local radio station held a contest to name the eagle. Appropriately named Harley. After Harley recuperated, Brian was honored to release him back into the wild. Brian was a very giving and loving person who will be greatly missed.
Survivors include his father Art Baladez and stepmother Arlene, daughters Miranda and Cassie, his son Ray, stepson Chad. Brother Greg Baladez and wife Joann and Sister Michelle Baladez. Brian has 7 grandchildren and one great granddaughter, and many nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by his mother Florinda (Baca) Baladez and daughter Desirae Baladez.
Recitation of the Rosary will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, August 9, 2024, at the Moser Funeral Service Chapel.
