David "Dave" H. Day's Obituary
David "Dave" Day, 90, of Windsor, passed away on Saturday, October 26, 2024, at Columbine Commons Health and Rehab Facility in Windsor, Colorado.
He was born April 15, 1934, in Point Pleasant, New Jersey to Guernsey and Mary (Johns) Day. He served in United States Air Force and went on to work for Simpson Electric, Fitch Electric, Kodak, Bruning and Noffsinger Manufacturing. He married Syvilla Holben, and they lived in Eaton, Colorado from 1988-2024 when they moved to Windsor.
He enjoyed model railroad and golf but loved spending time with family and friends.
Dave is survived by his wife, Syvilla Ann (Holben) Day, his daughters, Vicki (Roger) Prenzlow of Berthoud, Colorado, Ginny (Tom) Hoppal of Chandler, Arizona, and Vivian (David) Maxwell of Eaton, Colorado, a sister, Mary Lou Amerman of Kissimmee, Florida, 9 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Guernsey and Mary Day, and a son, David H. Day, Jr.
Private family services will be held at a later date.
