David (Dave) Allen Sierra of Evans, Colorado, was called home on June 18, 2022, at Swedish Medical Center in Englewood, Colorado, after an extended illness.

Dave was born April 19, 1968, to Carmelo Perez Sierra and Lena Jo (Brownell) (Sierra) Morris in Leavenworth, Kansas. He was a graduate of Greeley Central High School in 1986 and studied for two years at The University of Northern Colorado. He worked his way up from the pressroom to shipping manager at RR Donnelley & Sons in Greeley, Colorado. Dave then became the IT Manager at Dix Trucking Company in Denver, Colorado. He was an avid sports fan and liked playing and watching golf and the serenity found in fishing. However, the most important thing for him was spending time with family and friends.

He is survived by his mother, Lena Morris, his brother Bobby (Randee) Morris and sister Dana (Shane) Bechler of Greeley, a lifetime friend Brad Brownlee of Evans, four nieces and nephews, and one grandnephew.

He has now joined his grandparents Joe and Lena Brownell.

Memorial services will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, June 29, 2022, at First Christian Church, 2230 13th Street in Greeley. Inurnment will be at Linn Grove Cemetery.
