Donna L. Connell's Obituary
Donna L. Connell, 92, of Greeley, passed away on Sunday, March 23, 2025 at the Life Care Center of Greeley.
She was born on April 1, 1932 in Fullerton, California to Lee R. and Josephine (Wise) Akins. She graduated from Boulder High School in 1950.
Donna married Richard Merritt in 1951. They divorced in 1973.
Donna married Robert A. Connell in Lake Tahoe on August 20, 1975. Bob ran Connell's Antique Auction in Ault, CO until the late 1980's. He preceded her in death on June 15, 2018.
Survivors include her son and his wife, Kendall and Ruth Merritt of Harpers Ferry, West Virginia, step-son Kenneth and Vicky Connell of Fort Collins, CO, two grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
In addition to her husband Bob, she was preceded in death by her parents and one grandson.
A graveside service to celebrate Donna's life will be held later where she will be laid to rest next to Bob. A funeral notice will be posted with service details as they come available.
