Ernest Duran, 78, of Evans, passed away on Wednesday, February 16, 2022, at his home.
He was born September 12, 1943, to Alfredo Duran & Vicenta Duran from Mora, New Mexico. He married Jane Martinez in Greeley, CO and they settled in Greeley in 1965
Ernest had been employed by the City of Greeley and was a member of the Amanecer Cristiano Church. He enjoyed going to car shows and spending time with friends and family.
He is survived by his sons, Archie Martinez wife (Mary Martinez) Ernie Duran wife (Michelle Duran) & Alonzo Duran wife (Lolita Duran), his daughters, Elaine Stuart husband (Everett Stuart) & Patsy Stuart husband (Eric Stuart) , his brothers, Ben & Leroy Duran, his sisters, Josie Hernandez, Alyce Ice, and Lorraine Peralta, 16 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 4:00-7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 22, 2022, at the Amanecer Cristiano Church, 3451 23rd Avenue in Evans. Funeral Services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 23, 2022, also at the church. Interment Linn Grove Cemetery.
