Evelyn Frances "Francie" (Clinesmith) Flesner, 79, of Evans, Colorado passed away February 26, 2024, at The Bridge Assisted Living in Greeley, Colorado. She was born in Elkhart, Kansas to Harold and Florence (Trekell) Clinesmith on January 4, 1945.
Evelyn married William Flesner in Holdrege, Nebraska on March 22, 1964. They later relocated to Evans, Colorado in 1970, where they resided for most of their lives. Aside from being a seamstress Evelyn's most important role was being a stay-at-home mother to her 2 children Tom and Jeff. She was also a Sales Associate and eventual Manager at GNC.
Evelyn loved serving the community in which she lived, whether it was being a faithful servant as a member of Gloria Christi Lutheran Church or assisting others with her impeccable skills as a seamstress. One of her most treasured pastimes was spending time with her family. Evelyn will be deeply missed by everyone that knows her.
She is survived by her sons Tom and Jeff Flesner both of Greeley, Colorado; her brother Mike Clinesmith of Bradenton, Florida; 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
She is preceded by her husband William Flesner; her parents Harold and Florence (Trekell) Clinesmith; a brother Larry Clinesmith; and her sisters Linda Bell, Marjorie Essex, and Becky Purkey.
A Visitation will be held from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m., with a Funeral Service beginning at 10:30 a.m., Monday, March 11, 2024, both at the Moser Funeral Service Chapel, 3501 11th Ave in Evans, Colorado. Interment will be at the Evans Cemetery.
