Grace Lorene (Andrews) Jacobson of Greeley, Colorado died peacefully at Pathways Hospice in Fort Collins on May 28, 2025. Lorene was born on December 28, 1929, to Floyd and Sophia (Lavell) Andrews at their farm outside of McDonald, Kansas. At the age of 13, Lorene accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior and this faith guided her throughout her life. October 15, 1948, Lorene married Carroll Sanderson Jacobson. They were married for fifty-five and a half years. To this union six children were born: Vicky Linn, Leslie Ann, Randall Sanderson, Bradley Howard, Douglas Brent, and Debra Jo.

Throughout Carroll's career in education, the family lived in Kansas, Nebraska, and Colorado. With each move Lorene made a new house into a home for their family. Carroll and Lorene retired in 1983 and settled in Greeley, Colorado. Her life was well spent loving her husband, family, and friends.

Lorene was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Sophia Andrews; her infant daughter, Vicky Linn; her husband, Carroll Sanderson Jacobson; her son, Randall Sanderson Jacobson; her son, Bradley Howard Jacobson; her brother, Keith Andrews; and her sister, Lois Beecham Sterba.

Lorene is survived by her daughter, Leslie Ann Jacobson; son, Douglas (Vicky) Jacobson; daughter, Debra Jo (David) Van Dam; daughters-in-law, Jane (Randall) Jacobson and Jeannie (Bradley) Jacobson; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren delighted her heart.

She will be greatly missed, but she is with her Lord and Savior, and we will see her again one day.

Memorial services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, July 12, 2025, at the Moser Funeral Service Chapel in Evans.
