Gregorio Estala Sr.'s Obituary
Gregorio R. Estala, 75, of Evans, passed away on Sunday, February 20, 2022, at his home.
He was born March 12, 1946, in Poteet, Texas, to Victor Lopez Estala and Anita Rodriguez. He received his GED, went on to attend Aims Community College and then did 2 more years of college in Phoenix, Arizona. On October 11, 1969, He married Consuelo Cantu in Greeley.
Gregorio worked in construction, but his leisure time was spent, fishing, watching National Geographic, traveling and "going off the grid".
He is survived by his wife, Consuelo Estala which they were not living together at the time of his death, his son, Gregg (Susanna) Estala, Jr., his daughters, Aurora (Junior) Encinia, Mary Ellen (Archie) Martinez, his only surviving sibling, Jane Estala, and his grandchildren, Victor (Angel) Garcia, Reuben, Dion, Jasenda, Gregg III, and Franky Estala, Adeline, Elizabeth, Rachel and Debra Martinez, Crystal, Nicholas & Sarah Encinia, Andrew, Aaron, Austin, Alex, and Anysa, and great grandchildren Ryan & Ruby Garcia.
He was preceded by his parents, Victor Lopez Estala and Anita Rodriguez, his brothers, Paul & Lucio Estala and a sister, Carmen Estala.
A private family celebration of life service was held.
