Obituary

Jasmine Faith Carpio, 27, passed away in the early hours of November 14, 2025 at NCMC. Jasmine was born on October 8, 1998. In Jasmine's short but beautifully lived life she touched countless hearts with her warmth, humor and unwavering loyalty to those she loved and loved her.

Jasmine was the kind of person who made people feel like family. She was loving, caring and deeply protective of those she held close. Known for her perfectly balanced mix of sass and tenderness she could tease you and encourage you in the same breath. If she knew someone was struggling, she showed up--whether it was with a thoughtful gift meant to lift their spirits or with her time, offering an escape, a laugh or simply a comforting presence.

Jasmine cherished time spent playing games with loved ones and looked forward to her book club meetings--especially when they gave her an excuse to wander through Barnes & Noble or Second & Charles. Jasmine had a soft spot for quirky trinkets, especially blind-box treasures and she loved to joke about "her stupid dog" Nyx that everyone knew she adored and spoiled endlessly. A lover of new experiences, Jasmine enjoyed trying the latest food trends, often finding clever alternatives to work around her allergies. She delighted in quick foodie runs, trips to Dutch Bros, exploring snacks from all around the world. Above all, she valued quality time--especially with her husband and best friend, Ray (RJ). Even with opposite work schedules, the two of them found ways to spend nearly every free moment together, a reflection of their deep bond and commitment to one another.

Jasmine is survived by her loving husband, Ray "RJ" Guerrero; her Mother, Chrystal Cheshire Carpio; Father, Patrick "Badger" Carpio; In-Laws, Ray and Gina Guerrero; Brother, Brock and Sister-in-Law, Darrian; Niece, Autumn; Sisters-in-Law, Aliyah and Jaylin Guerrero; along with family and friends who will forever carry her memory in their hearts.

A celebration of life will be held in December 2025, with the exact date and location to be announced. Jasmine's family extends their heartfelt gratitude for every prayer, message, donation, meal and gesture of support offered during this devastating time. Your kindness has brought comfort and grace as they navigate this profound loss.
