Jennifer Joy Wilson age 53, passed away into the presence of her Lord and Savior on November 16, 2022.
Jennifer was born August 16, 1969, in Seattle, Washington to Donald and Marilyn (Carlson) Shouse. Jennifer spent her years growing up in the Seattle, Washington and Orem, Utah areas. She graduated from Orem High School in 1987. Jennifer returned to Greeley, Colorado and would go on to get her AA degree in medical Billing.
You would find Jennifer following in her mother's footsteps by substitute teaching throughout her years.
Jennifer met the love of her life Mike Wilson, and they were married February 14, 1997.
Jennifer loved working with her hands. She crocheted at least 50 blankets for kids in need.
She also made many blankets for family and friends. Jennifer enjoyed trips to Estes Park. She enjoyed when her and her husband Mike would stop and fish along the river.
Jennifer suffered many years with Myotonic Dystrophy but fought to the very end.
Her wish was to die at home and her husband honored her wish and was her caretaker till the end of her life.
Jennifer is preceded in death by her father, Donald Shouse and her infant son, Seth Wilson.
Jennifer is survived by her husband, Mike Wilson, her son, Kiley Shouse, and her mother, Marilyn Shouse, and many cousins who loved her dearly.
Please join us in celebrating Jennifer's life with visitation at 12:00 p.m. and funeral services following at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 22, 2022, at the Eaton Evangelical Free Church in Eaton, 1325 3rd Street, Eaton- reception to follow.
Burial will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday November 23, 2022, at Lakeview Cemetery in Windsor, Colorado
