John Carl Wolta Jr.'s Obituary
John Carl Wolta Jr. passed away on Tuesday, April 1, 2025. He was born on December 21, 1954, to John Carl & Jeanette (Wolfe) Wolta, Sr. in Brush, Colorado.
Early in his school years John had some extended illnesses. During that time, while looking through the family encyclopedias, he discovered a way to pass the time. Then began a lifelong thirst for knowledge.
In 1977, John earned a BA degree in Philosophy from the University of Colorado in Boulder.
In 1991, he earned another BA in Math and Computer Science from UNC.
Later in life he returned to the farm he grew up on.
John is preceded by his parents, John and Jeannette Wolta and a sister, Linda Inselman.
He is survived by his sister, Bonnie Wolta of Greeley.
A celebration of John's life will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, April 10, 2025, at The Moser Funeral Service Chapel, 3501 11th Ave, in Evans Colorado.
