Joshua Michael McCannon, 40, of Greeley, passed away on January 4, 2021 at his home.
He was born July 18, 1980 in Visalia, California to James M. Garrett & Angela K. McCannon. He graduated from Greeley Central High School and went on to attend the University of Northern Colorado and did some online learning to obtain his associates degree. He enjoyed comedy at his club, "The Downunder" and was a music enthusiast. Josh was excellent at his job as an insurance agent with his gift of gab he could sell to even the toughest customer. He loved to grill and barbeque for his family and friends. Most of all, he was a loving father to his two children.
Josh was survived by his parents, Angela K. McCannon of Greeley and James Michael Garrett of Visalia, California, a daughter, Kaya Elise and a son, Ethan Michael McCannon both of Greeley, aunties, Tanya Scambler and Vicki Thesenga, great aunts, Sharon Riddington, Ramona Nichols, and Jane & Uncle Bob Sweasy, along with numerous cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Carolyn M. McCannon and Lois Hill Garrett, great grandmother, Erma McCannon, and great grandfather, Jack McCannon.
A celebration of Josh's life will be held 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, January 14, 2021 at the Moser Funeral Service Chapel, 3501 S. 11th Avenue in Evans, Colorado.
