Juanita Rebecca Archibeque, 83, of Greeley, passed away on Saturday, January 14, 2023, at her home.
Many people knew her as Jenny Olivas. She was born July 28, 1939 and was adopted when she was 1 month old by Juan Arturo Olivas and Rebecca Trujillo in New Mexico. She attended school in Pierce and Ault Colorado. Through years she had many close friends.
Juanita enjoyed dancing, hanging out with family and friends, gambling at the casinos, and playing bingo. She was a member of the Rodarte Center, the Warriors of Faith and New Hope Church. She also enjoyed spending time at the senior center.
She leaves behind her beloved Oscar Ortiz and family, her 3 daughters, JoAnn (Frank) Iriarte, Mary Ellen (Joel) Martinez, Cathy Archibeque and special friend, Tony, 2 sons, Anthony Archibeque (Julie), Frank Archibeque and special friend, Ruby, and a daughter-in-law, Karina Vieyra, many nieces and nephews, 18 great great grand babies, 54 great grand babies, 24 grand babies and many friends everywhere.
She is preceded in death by her parents, a son David, ex-husband, Matt, brother, Ermilo, a sister, Stella, and a great great granddaughter, Destiny Marie Zaylene Pena.
A visitation will be held from 4:00-7:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 24, 2023, at the Moser Funeral Service Chapel, 3501 S. 11th Avenue in Evans. Funeral Services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 25, 2023, at New Hope Greeley Church, 1900 AA Street in Greeley. Interment Sunset Memorial Gardens. A reception will follow the interment back at New Hope Church.
