Kenneth "Ken" Lindblad was born on April 22, 1946, to George and Eileen Lindblad in Greeley, CO. He grew up on the family farm and attended Severance Elementary and Windsor Middle and High Schools. After graduation, he attended Northwestern Junior College, graduating in 1966.
In 1967, Ken married Eileen Reid in Greeley, and shortly after served in the Navy Reserves for six years. He then worked for IBM in Longmont for three years and retired from Eastman Kodak after 32 years. In his spare time and after retirement, Ken loved working on and restoring antique cars and gas engines, and anything that needed fixing. His love for old cars led to him belonging to several antique car clubs, including the Horseless Carriage Club and Poudre Valley Antique Auto Club.
Ken passed away December 28, 2025, after a short battle with pancreatic cancer.
He is survived by his wife, Eileen; children, Cory (Jennifer) Lindblad and Dena (Barry) Carlson; grandchildren, Camden (Madison) and Emmi Carlson, and CJ Lindblad; brothers, Sam and Carl; sister, Ruth Ann (Keith) Roberts; and nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 9, 2026, at Timberline Church, 2908 S. Timberline Road in Fort Collins, Colorado. The service will be live streamed at
