Obituary

Kimberly (Kim) Ann Pfeiff, 60, of Greeley, Colorado, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, April 27, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.

Kim was born on March 23, 1965, in Tribune, Kansas, to Beverly and Robert Martin. She was the eldest of two daughters. Kim graduated from Fowler High School in 1983, and during high school, she worked as a waitress at the Stockman's Restaurant for the Reed family.

On August 10, 1985, Kim married the love of her life, Robert (Rob) Pfeiff Jr. of Fowler, Colorado. Together they built a beautiful life and raised four beloved children: Randy (Tracy) Pfeiff, Halla (Jeremy) Ramsey, Bobby (Trevor Sullivan) Pfeiff, and McKaea (Nick) Dimpfel.

Kim found great joy and fulfillment in agricultural life. She fondly remembered her early days milking cows at Barnard Dairy in Fowler, Colorado, beginning in 1987. For many decades, she and Rob worked side by side in farming and ranching, dedicating their lives to agriculture. They worked with Kenny (Sr.) and Ken (Jr.) Hodges, K Bar E Angus, in Julesburg, Colorado, and Don Kehn of 4D Farms in Fort Collins, Colorado. After transitioning from ranching, Kim joined the Weld County Clerk and Recorder's Office, where she served as a valued team member for the last eight years.

Kim was a talented cook who took pride in preparing meals for family and friends. Her Colorado pork green chili and chili rellenos were favorites. She selflessly gave to others, always putting the needs of those around her first. A woman of deep faith, Kim worshipped the Lord and was devoted to helping others know Him. She served with grace and kindness—through both her words and actions.
In her free time, Kim enjoyed reading, particularly books about history, cowboys, and Native American culture. She was also an avid crocheter and loved creating gifts for those she loved. She adored her Border Collies—Quirt, Emmy, Cowboy, and Nike—who brought her great joy.

Kim was especially proud of her grandchildren, who were the light of her life. She is survived by her three grandchildren: Rebecca (Stettsun) Watson, Robert Pfeiff, and Sterling Dimpfel; and one great-grandchild, Dahlilla Mae Watson. She was also a devoted aunt to many nieces and nephews, whom she loved dearly.
Kim's warmth and kindness left an impression on everyone she met. She had a rare gift for making people feel seen and valued. Her love for the Lord, her family, her friends, and the land and animals was evident in all she did. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, May 2, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Calvary Chapel Church, 2602 W. 27th St., Greeley, CO 80634.

Kim was preceded in death by her parents, Beverly and Robert Martin; grandparents, Robert and Dorothy Martin and Herbert and Hazel Hiebert; aunt Irene Wiley; uncle Doug Martin; aunt Jean Martin; and father-in-law Robert Pfeiff Sr.
