Lori L. Hollis, 56, passed away peacefully, early Wednesday, February 3, 2021. She was born April 23, 1964, in Boulder, CO to John & Judy (Jeske) George.
Lori most recently worked for Boulder Times-Call and enjoyed working there for several years. In 2013, Lori met Ricky Wilson and began a relationship with him. They relocated to Brush a few years ago.
Lori was an avid animal lover, her passion for animals included rescuing and finding their forever homes. She was also a very talented artist who enjoyed making beaded jewelry, sewing, and crocheting. Lori enjoyed listening to country music and spending time watching cheesy sci fi movies and was a horror movie enthusiast. In her youth she spent as much time as she could riding a horse or on the back of a Harley Davidson in search of the next great adventure. She will be greatly missed; she was a beloved mother, grandmother, and wife.
Survivors include her husband, Ricky; 2 children, Jesse Bond, and Desire Herring; her sister Shelly, her brother Tony, and 3 grandchildren; Adley, Jade, and Jude. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Lori requested cremation, which was entrusted to the Heer Mortuaries & Crematory.
