Lucy Francisca Vieyra, 80, of Greeley, Colorado passed away September 18, 2022, at North Colorado Medical Center, with family by her side.
She was born August 5, 1942, to Margaret (Zamora) and Jack Apodaca in Greeley, Colorado. Lucy married Manuel Vieyra and of this union they had 4 children. Lucy held various positions of employment over the years and ultimately became a homemaker, caring for her children and grandchildren. She was a member of St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church.
Lucy is survived by her children, David Vieyra, Bobby Vieyra, Karina Vieyra, Julia Vieyra and Teresa Vasquez, her brother Henry Apodaca, sisters Mary Apodaca and Rose Apodaca, 11 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Margaret and Jack Apodaca, ex-husband Manuel Vieyra, and her brothers Anthony and Jerry Apodaca.
