Rosita Mae (Herman) Augustine, age 79, passed away Saturday, May 29, 2021 in Greeley, CO. She was born October 6, 1941 in Hays, KS to August and Mary (Kisner) Herman Sr. She attended Ellis High School and married the love of her life Robert Augustine on June 7, 1958 in Ellis at St. Mary's Catholic Church.

Rosita was a homemaker who loved cooking and baking. She enjoyed playing cards especially pinochle and spending time with her family. Rosita was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church.

Those left to cherish her memory are her five children: Stacy Befort (Steve), Ellis, KS; Robert (Bob)Augustine, Jr. (Dorreen), Marlow, Buckinghamshire, England; Donna Behring (Craig); Flower Mound, TX; Lonny Augustine (Tina), Eaton, CO; and Kevin Augustine (Kathy), Billings MT; two brothers, George Herman of Abilene and Kenneth Herman(Ruth)of Topeka; 15 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, her parents; a granddaughter; Chanel Augustine, great-grandson; Kash Dreiling; four brothers, Marvin, Paul, Ralph, and Augie Herman Jr. and three sisters, Mary Ryder, Matilda Markos and Ann Whitney.

Memorial Mass will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 10, 2021 at St. Mary's Catholic Church 703 Monroe Street in Ellis, Kansas. She will be laid to rest next to her husband in a private family burial at St. Mary's Cemetery in Ellis.
