Timothy Bruce DeBrine, 68, of Briggsdale, Co passed away peacefully March 18, 2024, in Greeley, Co surrounded by family.Tim was born in Fort Worth, Tx on September 5, 1955, to Bruce Emerson DeBrine and Georgia Mae DeBrine (Fuentes). He was
the second of six children.
Tim spent his early years in Fort Worth before moving to Soccoro, New Mexico in 1960. There he attended grade school and junior high. In 1971, the family moved to Broomfield, Co where he met his future wife, Cindy Mentzer. He graduated in 1973 and married Cindy in November of 1974.
After marriage they stayed in the Broomfield/ Lafayette area until 1980 when they were able to purchase their first house outside of Longmont, Co. They resided in the Longmont/ Mead area until 2006. In 2006, they purchased a house with some acreage outside of Briggsdale, Co where they remained until his passing. Upon moving to Briggsdale he retired and took care of the farm and all of the animals.
Tim has two children, a son, Timothy Stephen and a daughter, Carisa Lee as well as a grandson, Emmitt Lee with another grandchild on the way.
Tim had a number of jobs over the years. He worked at Wedge-It as a night manager where they manufactured nuts and bolts. He worked at Head coating tennis racquets. He did powder coating for a while and made the glass assemblies for truck toppers. His longest job of 15 years was as a mailman up in Boulder, Co running a mountain route.
Tim loved to garden. He had quite the green thumb. He grew a garden every year. He was a member of the NRA. He loved his Denver Broncos and absolutely adored his grandson. This year would have been Tim and Cindys 50th wedding anniversary.
Tim is preceded in death by his grandparents, his father and younger brother Kenton. He is survived by his wife Cindy, both children Timmy and Carisa (Cory Jackson), grandson, Emmitt, mother, Georgia, two brothers, Karl (Kanani), Travis (Jeni), two sisters, Valorie (Dennis) Stoutsenberger, Karen (Russ) Robertson, sister-in-law, Pamela and many nieces and nephews.
There will be a celebration of life and ashes will be buried at that time in the family plot in July down in Luna, New Mexico with a date to be determined later on.
