Verna "Hope" Rodgers 63 of Greeley Co passed away September 28, 2021, at NCMC. She will be dearly missed.

Hope was born on March 31, 1958, in Waco Texas. Her proud parents were Jerry and Emil (Fuller)Buethe. Hope married Richard G Rodgers on February 14, 1976, in Goodland Kansas. They were very happily married until his passing on February 6, 2008. She never remarried.

Hope enjoyed being a grandma (Gaga) first and foremost in life. She also enjoyed sewing, crocheting and working in her yard.

Hope is survived by her daughters Samantha Rodgers and Elizabeth Rodgers both of Greeley CO and Nellie Hill of Norway. Her grandkids Kerha, Jacob, Kinzley, Korbyn, Bradley and Brendon. Her siblings Becky (Bill) Davidson, Annette Crandall, Donna (Keith) Green, and Jerry (Teri) Buethe.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 32 years Richard, her parents, her beloved dog Howie, and one grandson.

A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 8, 2021, at 11:00 AM at Moser Funeral Home located in Greeley Colorado. Burial will be at a later date in Glasco Kansas.
