Wilma Frantz August 7, 1914-October 12, 2007 Age: 93 Residence: Greeley Tribute: Wilma Dorothea Frantz was born in Manchester, Iowa to Herman and Martha (Vierow) Zebuhr. She moved with her family to Greeley in August of 1931. She graduated from Greeley High School in 1932. On June 20, 1937, she married Perle Frantz in Greeley. They were married two weeks shy of 65 years when Perle passed away in June of 2001. Mrs. Frantz retired in August 1984 from School District 6 and prior to that from Bonell Good Samaritan Center. She did volunteer work for Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, for RSVP, and as a Medicare consultant. She accumulated more than 5,000 hours of volunteer work at Greeley/Evans School District 6, Boy Scouts of America, Hospice, Weld County Health Department, RSVP, Medicare counseling, Colorado Foundation for Agriculture, Evans Senior Center and Nutrition Program, United Way, Greeley Chamber of Commerce, Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, Amico Club, Weld County Retired School Employees Association, and Greeley Interfaith Association. Mrs. Frantz died on Friday in Hospice at Kenton Manor. Survivors: A son, Norman Frantz and daughter-in-law Carolyn, a daughter, Karen Moore and son-in-law Patrick Brinkman all of Greeley, and a daughter, Elaine Krominga and son-in-law Dennis of North Platte, Nebraska; 10 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren and a niece Diane Barthlama. Preceded in death by: Her parents; her husband Perle; and a brother Carl Zebuhr. Services: 10 a.m. Friday at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church 1800 21 Avenue, Greeley. Interment: Eaton Cemetery, Eaton, CO. Visitation: 1 p.m.-5 p.m. Thursday at the Moser Funeral Home.
