    Debra Louise Halte

    October 26, 1962 - January 17, 2022

Debra Louise Halte was born to Gerardo and Theresa Videtto on October 26, 1962, and joined her three siblings Anthony Videtto, Laurie Reyes of Long Island, NY, and Janet Knowles of Florida. She was born and raised a New York girl in Flushing. She graduated from Monsignor Scanlan High School in 1980, and shortly after moved to Lakewood, Colorado in 1986. While attending business school she met and married Joseph Halte in Lakewood on September 8th, 1990. Debra was a loving mother to four girls, Danielle Halte of Oklahoma, Amie Halte, Ericka Halte of Lakewood, CO, Randi Tappe of Fort Lupton, CO, and her “Son” Andrew Tappe (son-in-law). She was also a loving grandmother to her 6 grandchildren. Her life was dedicated to caring for everyone around her, she would give the roof over her head to ensure another’s well-being. She wasn’t just devoted to caring for others and her family, she was also a devoted employee at Viega, LLC. She loved her team and what she did almost as much as she loved spending time at a table with family, laughing, playing games, talking, and watching baseball with her husband. On Monday, January 17th, 2022, Debra was set free of her courageous and incredible battle with cancer. She is preceded in death by her Brother Anthony Videtto, and Father Gerardo Videtto. She will forever be remembered for the incredible woman, daughter, mother, sister, friend, and wife that she was, and always will be in spirit. Anyone wanting to join her family in her celebration of life on Thursday, January 27th, 2022, at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Greeley at 9:30am, is welcome to come. The family would also like to invite anyone who would like to join in showing support for her incredible fight, by wearing teal, this is the color for the support ribbon of Ovarian/Fallopian Tube Cancer.
