JoAnn W. Mondt, 76, of Eaton, passed away Sunday, July 27, 2014 at her home. JoAnn was born on May 1, 1938, in Greeley to Joseph and Leah (Achziger) Wagner. She grew up and received her education in Greeley and graduated from Greeley High School in 1956. She then attended Colorado State College for two years. On June 7, 1959, JoAnn was united in marriage to William "Bill" Mondt in Greeley at St. Peter's Catholic Church. She was a stay at home mom and wife and supported her family and husband in all of his coaching activities. She enjoyed a good workout, reading, gardening, flowers and cooking. Her greatest joy was her kids, grandchildren and caring for others. She is survived by her husband Bill of Eaton; daughters, Tracey Jo Mondt and Terri (Arland) Ball all of Eaton; grandchildren, Curt Rodda, Jesse Ramirez, Brady Ramirez, Courtney Cyr, Dylan Cyr, Tony Ball and Demi Ball; and her brother, Bob Wagner of Greeley. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister-in-law, Marjorie Wagner. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00 a.m., Friday, at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Greeley. Burial will follow at the Eaton Cemetery. A viewing will be held prior to the Mass.
