In 1944, she married T.L Hix in San Antonio, Texas. Survivors include her sons, Ben (Ginny) Hix of Tubac, Arizona and Jerry (Jill) Hix of Windsor, Colorado, grandchildren, Bob, Janelle, Bill and Dane, great grandchildren, Braeden, Brock, Collin, Cooper, Kennedy, Addie, Brasher, Bennie, Vaughn and Harper Mae, and a sister, Mary Henley of McLean Texas.
