Zachariah A. Apodaca, 17, of Greeley passed away on Monday, July 2, 2018 at Children’s Hospital in Aurora. He was born September 15, 2000 to Renee D. Armenta in Denver, Colorado. He resided in Greeley his whole life and graduated from Roosevelt High School in Johnstown in May of this year. He worked as a landscaper and was beginning a job in construction for M. R. Home Improvements. Survivors include his financé, Kayla Salazar, his mother, Renee D. Armenta, his mothers-in-law, Sylvia Salazar and Norma Lopez, his brothers, Noah Soto, Rylee Quintana-Blea, and Elijah Qunitana-Blea, a brother-in-law, Juan Salazar and a sister-in-law Karina Salazar, a sister and her husband, Marcillina Apodaca & Spencer Roberts, grandparents, Tanya Apodaca, Robert Salazar, Larry Apodaca, an aunt and her husband, Felicia Apodaca and Albert Harper, an uncle, Andrew Armenta, a niece Taetum Roberts, cousins, Adrian Lopez, Kiana Vigil, Andrew Vigil, Carlos Gutierrez, and many great aunts and uncles, cousins, and friends. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 11, 2018. A celebration of Zachariah’s life will begin at 1:00 p.m. all at the Moser Funeral Service Chapel, 3501 S. 11th Avenue in Evans. Following the service, we will be holding a memorial service open to the public at North Loveland Lake at 3:00 p.m. Memorial gifts may be made to the Apodaca family Gofundme.
