Ada Marie Lesser Rowlan, 67 of Greeley, Colorado died on Thursday, April 8, 2010 at the Grace Pointe Assisted Living in Greeley.
She was born on October 24, 1942 in Loveland, Colorado to John and Julia (Lee) Lesser.
Ada married Otis A. Rowlan in Loveland. She moved to Greeley from Temple, Texas in 2007.
Mrs. Rowlan loved to fish, sew, camp and garden. She also enjoyed being around her grandchildren, great grandchildren and all her many nieces and nephews. She will be missed by all including her beloved dog, Peppy.
Survivors include her son, Otis A. Rowlan, Jr; step son, Terry L. Rowlan; 2 step daughters, Sherry Russell, Deana Johanson and Reta Clark; 2 sisters, Joan Gill and Margo Pewe; 2 brothers, Robert Lesser and Rick Lesser and several grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Otis Rowlan; her parents, John and Julia Lesser; 5 brothers, John Lesser, Bill Lesser, Vern Lesser, Jim Bennett and Jerry Lynn Lesser and 2 sisters, Margaret Lesser and Eva Hafelfinger.
A funeral service to celebrate Ada's life will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, April 14, 2010 at the Moser Funeral Service Chapel, 3501 S. 11th Avenue in Evans. Visitation will be from 2:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home. Her urn will be buried at a later date at Linn Grove Cemetery.
