Obituary

Adelaida "Eadie" Moralez, 62, of Greeley, died on Tuesday, December 26, 2006 at the Hospice & Palliative Care of Northern Colorado Inpatient Unit in Greeley. She was born on December 15, 1944 in Post, Texas to Jesse and Juanita (Saldivar) Morales. Eadie moved to Greeley in 1972 from Austin, Texas. She earned her associates degree from Aims Community College in business and was later offered a scholarship to M.I.T.. She worked for many years as a waitress at different restaurants in Greeley. and later worked for Monfort until she became disabled in 1982. She was a Christian of the Baptist faith. Survivors include her mother, Juanita Morales of Greeley; a daughter, Natalie Morales of Greeley; 3 grandchildren, Mandy Rice of Parachute, Colorado and Justin and Jacquelyn Griffin both of Rifle, Colorado; a great granddaughter, Myckenzi Rice of Parachute, Colorado; 5 sisters, Yolanda Hernandez of Kersey, Amelia Chavira of Amarillo, Texas, Rita Jaramillo of Evans, Colorado, Sara Macias of Denver and Martha Bustoz of Greeley; 5 brothers, Jessie Morales Jr. of Post, Texas, Pete S. Morales of Dallas, Texas, George Morales of Parker, Colorado Martin Morales of Henderson, Colorado and Richard Morales of Milliken, Colorado. She is preceded in death by her father, Jesse Morales. Private family memorial services will be held.
