Alma Dale Laser, beloved wife of Alfred W Laser died on October 31, 2025 in Draper Utah. Alma was born November 29, 1929, at Flat Rock, Illinois, to Everett and Mae (Thompson) Daron.
She graduated from Robinson Twp. High School, Robinson, Illinois in 1948. She started her career in banking in Robinson, Illinois, continued into bookkeeping, then worked for the US Air Force for four years as a secretary in Japan, France, and Germany. She ended her career as an Administrative Assistant at NASA Headquarters in Washington, D.C., retiring in 1986. She enjoyed travelling while she was overseas and travelled to 27 countries.
Alma married Alfred "Al" W. Laser on April 28, 1973, in Washington, D.C. They lived there until she retired in 1986. They moved to Colorado and have spent their years traveling by motor home, going on cruises and, in the last few years, taking short trips. She was always ready to go on that next trip.
She was a Past Matron of Jessica Callahan Chapter #91, Order of the Eastern Star, in Alexandria, VA; a member of El Mejdel Temple #47, Daughters of the Nile, Denver, CO; Past President of Zuliema Club, Daughters of the Nile, Greeley, CO; Member-at-large, Beta Sigma Phi National; Member of the National Association of Retired Federal Employees (NARFE), attended the Computer Users Group of Greeley; and was Registrar & Chaplain of Longs Peak's Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution, Longmont, CO.
Alma was preceded in death by her loving husband, Alfred W Laser; her mother and father; a sister, Ruby Louise Howard; a brother, Daniel N. Daron; a sister, Laura Mae Wilson; and a sister, Maxine McGuire.
She is survived by her three grandchildren, Charity Laser (Lee Hester) and two children, Lillian and Liam; Chelsea Laser; and Celeste (Adam) Hidey and their child Aiden; and several nieces and nephews and grand-nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, December 1, 2025, at the Moser Funeral Service Chapel, 3501 11th Avenue in Evans, CO.
