Alvin L. Weber, 80, of Greeley, died on Wednesday, April 5, 2006 at the Hospice & Palliative Care of Northern Colorado Inpatient Unit.
He was born on February 5, 1926 in Severance, Colorado on the family farm to Carl and Mary (Kindsfater) Weber.
Mr. Weber served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He later married Vivian Kercher on February 13, 1949 in Greeley.
He farmed from 1949 until 1959 on the family farm in Severance. In 1959 Alvin, Vivian and family moved to Greeley. He was a member of St. Paul's Congregational Church, the Greeley V.F.W. Pioneer Post #2121 and the Greeley Senior Center.
Survivors include his wife, Vivian Weber of Greeley; 3 daughters, Sandra Schneider & husband Tom of Dallas, Texas, Karen Jordan and husband Bob of St. Charles, Missouri and Denise Weber of St. Louis, Missouri; 2 grandchildren, Todd Schneider & wife Chanda of Houston, Texas and Amy Wilson and husband Rusty of San Francisco, California; 2 sisters, Alma Clark and husband Boone of Denver and Virginia Olsen of Windsor; 2 brothers, Albert Weber and wife Lois of LaSalle, Colorado and Marvin Weber of Desert Hot Springs, California and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Bonnie Jean Weber; a brother, Ray Weber and a brother in law, Swede Olsen.
A funeral service to celebrate Alvin's life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday at St. Paul's Congregational Church, 1525 43rd Avenue. Wisitation will be from 1:00 until 4:00 p.m. on Sunday at the Moser Funeral Service Chapel. Interment Sunset Memorial Gardens.
