Alyssa Jane Erwin was born in Kingman, Arizona on February 13, 1987, and died on March 7, 2025, in Pasadena, California.

When Alyssa was about six months old, she and her parents moved to Durango, Colorado, where they lived for three years before moving to Boulder, Colorado, and then to Broomfield, Colorado.

At the age of fifteen, Alyssa began a video gaming relationship with eighteen-year-old James Graham of Rohnert Park, California. This relationship continued until she graduated from Greeley Central High School in 2005. Once graduated, Alyssa and James moved to Santa Rosa, California. In 2018, James was hired by Disney, and he and Alyssa were transferred to La Crescenta, California. They were living in La Crescenta when she passed away.

Alyssa is survived by her mother, Tami Sanburg and her stepfather, Jason Locke, and her father, Gary Erwin and stepmother Darlene Erwin. She has three surviving sisters: Rhiannon, Jillian, and Chelsea, and a stepsister, Heather, as well as a surviving grandmother, Dorothy Sanburg. She also has numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and other more distant family members. All who knew her will miss her.
