Amelia Benavides, 87, of Greeley, Colorado passed away January 26, 2023, at Meadowview Assisted Living with family by her side. She was born September, 9, 1935 to Juan and Sarah (Martinez) Peralta in New Mexico.

Amelia met the love of her life, Adolph Benavides and the two of them have been happily married for 66 years. They were proud members of Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church.

Along with raising her family, Amelia was employed as a Teacher's Aide for many years.

She is survived by her husband, Adolph Benavides, her son, Adolph Benavides Jr., a daughter, Joy Benavides, and 2 grandchildren.

Amelia is preceded in death by her parents, Juan and Sarah Peralta, and her son, Wayne Benavides.

No services are scheduled at this time and in accordance with Amelia's wishes, cremation will be held.
