Amelia "Molly" N. Sanchez, 82, of Platteville, passed away on Wednesday, November 30, 2022, surrounded by her family at her home.

She was born April 22, 1940, in Asherton, Texas to Pedro & Guadalupe (Navarro) Moreno, Sr. On October 26, 1968, she married Jose G. Sanchez in Greeley, Colorado. She worked for Bonell Good Samaritan Center in Greeley.

Amelia is survived by her husband, Jose G. Sanchez of Platteville, sons, Jacob Sanchez of Greeley, and Jose "Joey" G. Sanchez, Jr. of Platteville, daughters, Gloria Galindo of Greeley, Mary Lou Leblanc of Fort Lupton, and Deborah Cervantes of Greeley, a brother, Mingo Moreno of Commerce City, 3 sisters, Sofia Rincones of Greeley, Aurora Pisano of Ogden, Utah, and Maria Hilda Moreno of Platteville, 17 grandchildren, and 25 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Pedro & Guadalupe Moreno, Sr., brothers, Richard, Lorenzo, Vicente, and Gorge Moreno, Raymond Rodriguez, Santos Hernandez, Manuel Moreno, and Pedro "Pete" Moreno, Jr. and a sister, Maria Moreno.

Recitation of the Rosary will be held on Monday, December 5, 2022, at 7:00 p.m. at the Moser Funeral Service Chapel, 3501 S. 11th Avenue in Evans. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Tuesday, December 6, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church, 1311 3rd Street in Greeley. Interment at Linn Grove Cemetery.
