Andrew D. "Andy" Buhr, 49, of Gilcrest, died on Saturday, December 16, 2006 at his home.
He was born on June 24, 1957 in Longmont, Colorado to George V. and Bertha L. (Green) Buhr.
Andy married Jennelle Chevalley on December 10, 1986 in Las Vegas, Nevada. He attended schools in Longmont and he earned his G.E.D. when he was 18 years old. He later attended Catholic Seminary in Missouri. He worked as a manager of a Denver 7-Eleven. He became disabled in 1988. Mr. Buhr loved his music and writing poetry for his friends and family.
Survivors include his wife, Jennelle Buhr of Gilcrest; 2 sons, Brandon D. Buhr and Keith R. Buhr both of Gilcrest; a daughter, Diane D. Buhr of Gilcrest; 3 brothers and their wives, John & Lucille Buhr of Paionia, Colorado, Bruce and Betty Buhr of Amarillo, Texas and Keith Buhr of Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic; a daughter and her husband, Phyllis and Darrel Stanly of Texas and multiple uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins. He is preceded in death by his parents, and infant brother, Danny Buhr and a brother, Richard Buhr.
A memorial mass to celebrate Andy's life was held on Monday, December 18, 2006 at the Moser Funeral Service Chapel, 3501 S. 11th Avenue in Evans. Cremation.
