On May 13, 2023, Angela Kay Brown, age 55, slipped peacefully into God's arms after a short illness.
Known as "Angie" to her friends and family, and "GiGi and Grandma" to her grandchildren, Angie's gentle smile and her kind, loving nature brought joy and comfort to all who knew her.
Angie was born January 2, 1968, in Hastings, Nebraska, and graduated from Adams Central High School in Hastings in 1986. She most recently resided in Greeley, Colorado where she could be close to her twin sister and best friend Pam Sanford. Angie was extremely creative and worked as an artwork framer for many years, and her great love of children drew her to also run an in-home daycare. She loved woodworking, refinishing furniture, crafting, and she especially shined in her creative party planning for all types of events. Her biggest passion and greatest joy in life, however, was the love and pride she had for her sons, Levi and Austin, and her young grandchildren, Kylie, Hudson, Kai and Gabrielle.
Angie was preceded in death by her parents, Ray and Arlene Chagnon, brothers,Thomas and Steven Chagnon, and sister Janet Dornhoff.
She is lovingly survived by her sons, Levi (Mariel) Brown and grandchildren Kai and Gabrielle, of Lake Dallas, Texas, and Austin (Kasey) Brown and grandchildren Kylie and Hudson, of Stephenville, Texas; sister Pamela (Lane) Sanford of Greeley, Colorado and nieces Alexandra (Cody) Koontz of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Abigail Sanford of Loveland, Colorado, and nephew Zachary Sanford of Loveland, Colorado; as well as nieces Brenda Favinger and Felice Sikes, and many other cousins, extended family, and friends.
A memorial service celebrating Angie's life will be held on Thursday, May 18, 2023, at 1:30 pm at Moser Funeral Home, 3501 11th Avenue, Evans, CO, 80620. A private burial service will be held at a later date.
