Angelina Loretta Bellavia Johnson (Angie), 85, born on August 14, 1928, passed away July 13, 2014 at Hospice & Palliative Care of Northern Colorado, Greeley. Angie was born in Chicago, IL and lived the last four years in Greeley, CO and the previous 12 years in Amite, LA. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jacob (Jack) Bellavia and Mary Misita Bellavia. She is survived by her sisters Loretta Fayette, Pauline Stevens, Annie Jordan, Virginia Cason, and one brother Emile Bellavia, a daughter Jo Ann Johnson Messick, one son, Gary Bennard Johnson, 4 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, cousins and friends. Angie was a mother and aunt to everyone who knew her. She was known for her kindness to others and her raw sense of humor. She loved to crochet, loved people and was a friend to all who met her. She yearly helped with the St. Joseph's Altar in Amite, LA. She was a loving mother, sister, grandmother, aunt and great grandmother. She will be missed greatly by family and friends. A memorial service will be held at Family Worship Center, 110 N. 25th 110 N. 25th Avenue Court, Greeley, CO on July 26, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. A celebration of life reception will be immediately following the service in the fellowship hall of Family Worship Center.
