Anita "Neet Neet" Leon, 64, of Greeley, passed away on Monday, March 6, 2023, at Presbyterian St. Luke's in Denver.

She was born October 2, 1958, to Andres S. & Erminia (Gonzales) Casarez, Jr. in Greeley, Colorado. She attended Kersey High School, and other than a time between 1982-1993 when she was in Lubbock, Texas, most of her life was spent in Greeley. On February 17, 1978, she married Anthony Mark Leon, her best friend.

Anita was a domestic engineer by choice and a world class mother and gramma. She devoted her life to God and her family. She was a woman of great faith and wisdom. Her life verse was 2 Timothy 4:7 "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith."

She is survived by her husband, Anthony M. Leon, her son, Anthony (Chunk) Leon, her daughter, Paula (Matthew) Martinez, 2 sisters, Janie (Norman) Behrens, and Hope (Samuel) Subia, and 3 grandchildren, Noelle, Alek and Gene.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Andres and Erminia Casarez, Jr., her in-laws, Bones & Tillie, a sister, Linda, a brother-in-law, Eddie, a sister-in-law, Cissy, nephews, Eddie (Godson) Nathan, Ernest, Romeo, and a fur baby, Milo.

A Celebration of Anita's life will be held at 10:30 a.m. at the Moser Funeral Service Chapel.
