Arnold George Schwab, 83, of Greeley died Saturday Jan 3, at the Centennial Health Care in Greeley.
He was born Ernest Arnold Stokes on November 12,1931 to Warren Willard and Laura Hunget Stokes of Brule, Nebraska. On September 10, 1938 he was adopted by Abraham and Amelia Schwab and his name was changed to Arnold George Schwab.
In July of 1954 Arnold married Carolyn M. Ault in Fort Collins they had 3 sons together. Jerry, Jimmy and Joseph, they later divorced.
In December of 1974 Arnold then married Janet Engel Wagenman. Janet had 2 children Randy Murch, and Stacy Dickerson.
Arnold was a Veteran serving 20 years in the Air Force and drove truck for Monfort until his health declined. He was also a Life Member of the V.F.W. Post 4334 in Ault Colorado, and past member of American Legion in Eaton.
Survivors: His wife Janet, 3 sons, Jerry, Jimmy and Joseph Schwab, Step-Daughter Stacy (Troy) Dickerson and divorced wife Carolyn M. Schwab.
Preceded in death by: Both sets of parents, 3 sisters, 1 brother and 1 step son.
