Beatriz Hernandez Alaniz, 75 of Evans passed away on Tuesday, December 26, 2017 surrounded by family at her home.

She was born on February 17, 1942 in Plainview, Texas to Luciano and Matilde (Cervantes) Alaniz.

Beatriz loved attending her church, Supernatural Worship Center and she also enjoyed crochet, embroidery, sewing and cooking.

Survivors include her 3 sons, Raz Hernandez and wife Loretta of Windsor, Al Hernandez and wife Myriam of Greeley and Dan Hernandez and wife Tanessa of Johnstown; her daughter, Matilda Montgomery and husband Desmond of Evans; 3 brothers, George and Angel Alaniz of Greeley and Luciano Alaniz Jr. of Tulia, Texas; 11 grandchildren and 15 great Grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Luciano Alaniz and Matilde Cervantes-Alaniz and a brother, Mario Alaniz.

Services begin with visitation from 5:00 until 7:00 on Thursday, January 4, 2018 followed by an evening service beginning at 7:00 p.m. at Centro de Adoracion Church, 1015 9th Avenue in Greeley. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 5th at the church. Interment Sunset Memorial Gardens.
