Benito Sanchez Tovar, 77 of Greeley passed away September 20, 2006 at North Colorado Medical Center. Benito was born in Corpus Cristy Texas in 1945. Mr. Tovar was married to Julia Barron Tovar for 23 years, she passed away in 2004. He enjoyed TV westerns, he was a migrant worker most of his life, he worked as a security guard in Ft. Lupton for 5 years. He worked at the Greeley Tribune and for Rocky Mtn. SER. He loved to party. He is survived by two sons, Benito Jr. Tovar, Adriano Tovar, both of Greeley. Two Daughters Olivia Tovar, Alva Tovar both of Greeley. Two Brothers Manuel and Felix Tovar both of Greeley, and two sisters Margie and Lidia Tovar both from Texas. In addition to his wife he was also preceded in death by his parents. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Monday September 25, 2006 at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church, 1311 3rd St. Greeley. Visitation will be held Friday from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 pm and again Sunday from 6:00 p.m. unitl 8:00 p.m. with recitation of the Rosary at 7 pm at Moser Funeral Service Chapel, 3501 S.11th Avenue, Evans, Colorado 80620. Memorial contributions may be made to the Benito Tovar Memorial Fund in care of Moser Funeral Service.
