Bernardo Salazar, 75 of Evans, died on Saturday, April 21, 2012 at the North Colorado Medical Center. He was born on April 16, 1937 in Eaton, Colorado to Delphino and Claudia (Romero) Salazar. Bernardo attended Colorado Deaf and Blind School graduated 1957. Bernardo loved the Colorado Rockies, Denver Bronco's and the Denver Nuggets. Bernardo also loved to play pool and had won numerous tournaments. Bernardo love d walking every day. He enjoyed the Milliken Senior Citizen Center and participated every Monday and Friday in the activities. He had made wonderful friends with the Senior Citizens of Milliken. Survivors include; James Salazar (Darlene) Boise ID, John Salazar Denver, Delores Pacheco of Johnstown, Louie (Marylou) Evans, and Victoria (Dan) Quintana Loveland and numerous nieces and nephews. He was a man of the Lord. He is preceded in death by his parents and brothers Joe and Ernie Salazar; brother in law, Efren Pacheco and two nephews and a niece. He will be sadly missed by all who loved him. The Rosary will be recited at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, April 25, 2012 followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday at St. Mary Catholic Church, 2222 23rd Avenue in Greeley. Interment will follow in the Johnstown Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the Moser Funeral Service chapel, 3501 S. 11th Avenue in Evans.
