Bertha “Bert” Morgan Garrison, 95 of Greeley, passed away on Tuesday, January 17, 2017 at her home.

She was born on November 2, 1921 to Henry & Mary (Betz) Hart in Milliken, Colorado. She married Vernon C. Morgan in Greeley, Colorado on February 8, 1941. Bertha and Vernon C. “Cliff” Morgan began a grand business venture in Greeley which eventually became Morgan Nursery, Inc. This enterprise familiar to many in the area, attracted the partnership of five children. All loved their community and serving it together. She later married Gene Garrison on January 29, 1991.

Survivors include sons, Bob & Vern Morgan, daughters, Sherron Brunner, Patricia Erickson and Susan Morgan, 14 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry & Mary Hart and 12 brothers and sisters.

Graveside service 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 23, 2017 at Linn Grove Cemetery followed by a Celebration of Life & Reception at 12:00 p.m. at the Triple S Event Center 901 35th Avenue, Greeley, Colorado.
