Betty Joan Moser, 89, of Greeley, passed away at Garden Square of Westlake on Friday, December 13, 2024.
She was born August 8, 1935, in Denver, Colorado to Benhard and Vernice F. (Fox) Knudson. She graduated from South High School and went on to attend Barnes Business College where she obtained an associate degree. On July 7, 1956, she married Alvie Archie Moser in Denver, and they moved to Greeley in 1966.
Betty held several jobs as keypunch operator at the State Anex Building in Denver, at the University of Northern Colorado and as a clerk at the Weld County Clerk and Recorder's office. She was a member of Gloria Christy Lutheran Church. She had a creative side and enjoyed oil painting, sewing and cooking.
She is survived by her daughter, Thema B. Moser, her sister, Sylvia M. Bevans, a sister-in-law, Corona Mae Howard, and a grandson, Joshua Weed.
She was preceded by her husband, Alvie A. Moser, and a daughter, Sheila Ann Weed.
Private family services will be held at a later date.
